EURO pallets
EURO pallets are most often encountered and most often demanded pallets in the market.
They are used for business purposes by almost all the companies. At least 78 nails of particular type are supposed to be used in the manufacture of EURO-pallets. The nails are subject to prescribed norm for nails and are used to connects parts of the pallet.
Only dry wood should be used in the manufacture, so as to reduce the risk of mould.
Each EURO-pallet has a number of quality marks:
- Left corner cube exhibits the EPAL logo.
- Central cube shows the manufacturer's code, together with the verifier's signature and the name of the railway company that has designated the verifier.
- If the EURO-pallet has already been repaired, the central part id provided with a round checking nail.
- The last numbers tell the year of manufacture and possible type of wood used.
- Right corner cube exhibits the EUR logo.
- Logs EPAL and EUR are surrounded by an oval plate, similar to the national sticker used on cars.
If the pallet has been treated by the IPPC procedure, it can be seen additionally at the left side of the central cube by the symbol of an ear of wheat and a vertical inscription of IPPC.
- HR ISO- code for Croatia (.. ES. DE, PL, CZ),
- XX designation of the organs competent for issuing the permit,
- 000 registration number of the company that has manufactured or treated the wood used for wooden packaging.
- DB „debarked“ = ,,peeled-off ", bark removed,
- HT designation of heat treatment applied.

Truck deliveries for this type of pallets are done as follows:
544 pieces (pallets stacked one onto the other) or 700 pieces (pallets stacked one into the other).
